Undergraduate University Study of Civil Engineering
Building Materials I
- a student will be able to:
- design concrete mix composition in terms of required strength, workability and durability;
- compose the quality control program of building materials;
- plan appropriate testing methods of materials;
- lead experimental studies on properties of building materials independently;
- analyze and interpret the test results of properties of building materials.

Building Materials II - a student will be able to:
- design mix composition and technology of a special concrete;
- design mix composition of a mortar;
- plan appropriate methods for rehabilitation of concrete;
- calculate and experimentally investigate the deformation of concrete;
- sketch composition of an asphalt.

 

Graduate University Study of Civil Engineering
Building Materials II
- a student will be able to:
- design mix composition and technology of a special concrete;
- design mix composition of a mortar;

Postgraduate Doctoral Study of Civil Engineering
Rheology of Materials
- a student will be able to:
- develop and select options of rheological models for concrete;
- develop and select options of rheological models for special concrete;
- appraise functional links of spatial and rheological properties of concrete specimens;
- select concrete composition based on the desired spatial model of normal and special concrete;
- recommend the type of rheometer for certain tests;
- appraise the obtained results.

Novel Construction Materials- a student will be able to:
- select and recommend mix design for self-compacting concrete;
- select and recommend mix design for lightweight concrete (normal and self-compacting);
- select and recommend mix design for the concrete made from recycled materials;
- select and recommend mix design for the high performace concrete;
- select and recommend properties of composite materials;
- test properties, compare and recommend types of insulating materials.
