Learning Outcomes:
Undergraduate University Study of Civil Engineering
Introduction to architecture - a student will be able:
- to analyze historical periods of architecture based on the development of function, structure and aesthetics in architecture;
- to identify significant buildings of all historical periods, in Croatia and in the world, based on function, structure and aesthetics;
- to identify the type and the purpose of a particular spatial plan;
- to understand the function of the geodetic substrate in a particular spatial plan.
Graduate University Study of Architecture and Urban Planning
Protection and Restoration of Architectural Heritage Studio I - a student will be able:
- to create a project of restoration of traditional building/complex;
- to recommend new contents appropriate to traditional building/complex;
- to choose appropriate technical solutions and materials for restoration of traditional architecture;
- to argue decisions made in relation to the mode and content of restoration of traditional architecture;
- to foresee way of safeguarding, restoration and presentation of traditional equipment of a settlement.
Protection and Restoration of Architectural Heritage Studio II - a student will be able:
- to valorize historical building/complex or archaeological site upon analysis of all available documents (bibliographical, historical, graphic, archaeological, research results..);
- to critically judge possibility for the new construction in historical context;
- to value appropriateness of the new contents in historical building/complex;
- to recommend a way of restoration of historical building or presentation of archaeological site;
- to justify the proposed mode and scope of the restoration of historical building/complex or presentation of archaeological site.
Protection and Restoration of Architectural Heritage Studio III - a student will be able:
- to create a project of the restoration of historically complex building complex;
- to reccommend new contents appropriate to the specific type of historical buildings;
- to choose appropriate technical solutions and materials for restoration of historical buildings;
- to argue the decisions made in relation to the mode and content of the restoration of historical buildings;
- to foresee the way of protection and presentation of archaeological site.

Introduction to architecture - a student will be able:
