Based on the Croatian Declaration on Open Access (2012), UNESCO's Recommendations for Open Science (2021), Research and Innovation Strategy 2020-2024: EU Open Science Policy, Recommendations of the EU Commission on Access to Scientific Information and Its Preservation and the University of Split's Scientific Strategy (2022-2026), the University of Split has implemented the Policy of Open Science. This policy ensures that scientific research results are openly available, accessible and reusable. It seeks to enhance scientific collaboration and information exchange for the benefit of both science and society and to extend the process of knowledge creation beyond the traditional scientific community.
