Specialized Laboratory Unit - Measuring Station for Wind Energy


DESCRIPTION

Equipment available within Specialized Laboratory Unit - Measuring Station for Wind Energy can be used for continuous measurements of wind velocity and directions. Measurements are performed using ultrasonic anemometer, with modular steel column used for installation of measuring equipment. Collected data can be used for assessment of climate extremes, long-term wind forecasting, and wind energy transfer. Furthermore, structural displacements and deformations due to wind impact can be measured using state-of-the art survey equipment.
