Virtual exchange opportunity
Dear Students,
Center for Global Engagement at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA, USA, would like to share with you an opportunity to participate in the virtual exchange. See flyer below!
Virtual exchange: Who am I now? Reflecting on our responses to global crises
• Meet students from around the world while making sense of the current pandemic from multiple perspectives!
• Dialogue about responses to global crisis from your own personal experiences while holding the reality of the global impact of the current pandemic.
Register by May 20. You can select and register for one, two or all three sessions offered:
May 27, 2020 8:00-9:00 am EDT Gender Norms and Roles in Times of Crisis
June 1, 2020 8:00-9:00 am EDT Supply Chain and Human Response in Times of Crisis
June 3, 2020 8:00-9:00 am EDT Role of Government and Human Response in Times of Crisis
Time zone difference. You can check for the accurate time in your time zone using the World Clock Meeting Planner. All sessions will be happening at 8:00-9:00 am Easter Daylight Time (e.g., New York time).
Preparation. After you registerfor the session(s), we will provide a 30 min video on the topic and a short intercultural awareness module so you can prepare for the virtual exchange session, which will include small group dialogues on the above topics: you will have an opportunity to share about your experiences and observations.
